Had a chance to visit a fine BBQ place today. One has to have his appetite satisfied before buying groceries.. So I popped in and had a fine meal, A sliced pork sandwich with large drink and fries. The service was top notch. Quick and polite. The kitchen was quick to send out my meal and It was as I had thought , a FINE sliced BBQ pork SANDWITCH.. The fries were hot and just right, nice and crispy on the outside and moist and fresh on the inside It is hard to beat sonny's BBQ and the location in Commerce, GA does a fine job of putting the customer out front. Waitresses that serve the customer, with a smile and the food of the day The rest room was clean and fresh also. Kudos to house keeping!
Wonderful food, maybe the best pulled pork I have had! The cherry cobbler egg rolls are to die for delicious! The staff is excellent and even brought our dog a water bowl. Will always go back here when in the area.

While traveling we have certain restaurants we prefer. We were very happy to find a Sonny’s Barbecue in the area. This location is one of the newer style with a bar and drive through. The food is excellent, true slow smoked barbeque. Our server was excellent, very friendly and attentive. A great meal.
We had the most amazing lunch here after shopping in Commerce. I was traveling with a friend who eats at this Sonny's every time she's in Commerce. I ordered jalepeno cheddar sausage that was absolutely amazing, baked beans that were some of the best I've had, green beans so good, pulled pork which was delicious and nicely smoked, not fatty, and cornbread. The cornbread had a honey type of glaze on the top and I loved it so much. We ordered peach egg rolls and were so happy we did! Really delicious lunch and great waitstaff. Thanks!
During our trip to Atlanta, we decided to stop in Commerce for dinner, and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made. We discovered this restaurant, and it was completely worth it. The flavor, the size of the portions, and the service were all great. Now we know exactly where to stop on our future trips!
This is our 3rd time using Sonny’s catering in Commerce. Our driver was very helpful and friendly. He was prompt and professional. Thankful for a GREAT Experience! We had a lot of happy guests.
Wanted a quick bbq meal and we were not disappointed. We were Seated quickly, server was great and took our order promptly. Food was great, everything is ala cart on the menu. $10 for sandwhich, and side was $3.69, I had water. 5 stars $$
The BBQ pork sandwich on garlic toast is really good, and it's a good price if you order "The Bid Deal" which is basically a combo with a drink and a side. The dry rub wings and onion rings are also really good. The staff are friendly, and service is quick even when busy.
